Romeo y Julieta Short Churchills
Developed in 1875 by Inocencio Alvarez and Mannin Garcia. The Romeo and Julieta brand immediately showed its quality by winning gold medals in four universal expositions of Fine Cigars between 1885 and 1900.
In 1903 when Jose Rodriguez Fernandez, known as "Pepin" bought the brand is when it really became famous. The cuban cigars Romeo and Julieta are credited with the introduction of the "Churchill" shape. It was named in honour of British statesman Winston Churchill (note the name of the factory shape for this size: the "Julieta 2.")
This worldwide acclaimed cigar is known for his full flavour.
